Just a question ...

What do you do when you've inadvertently started three books, and all three are unputdownables?

10 bonus scribbles:

I ALWAYS have more than one book "going on" at a time! Right now, on my bedstand, there are probably half-dozen. I just let my mood at the time determine which one I pick up.

Some nights, though, I may read parts of several.

Okay, okay, I know that's truly not possible...

Have you tried cloning yourself? :)

Bernita 2/08/2007 08:42:00 AM

I frequently have two or three on the go.
Isn't it lovely to have them waiting?

Anissa 2/08/2007 09:45:00 AM

Give all three to hubby and say, "Hide two and bring one back to me."

He makes the decision and the other two are "gone" for a while.

Just a thought. I'm terrible at decisions sometimes, especially when it comes to books.

My problem not being the number of stories on the go, but mixing the characters up. I've found myself writing a character very similar to one on the other story! Now that's a problem! LOL.

Lately my problem's been having three books in progress and not being compelled to go back to any of them! I WISH I had your problem.

One of the not-so-compelling books is NEVER LET ME GO; anyone have a better time with this? I so want to love the book...

I like Anissa's solution to your dilemma, and I think I can solve mine by copying your reading list.

p.s. how weird that you posted about books being released on Tuesdays, and I just learned that my book will be released...on a Tuesday!...and I didn't know either of those things before today.

Cosmically cool!

Erik! You don't know how happy I am to hear I'm not the only one. (Er, I really meant: to hear I'm not crazy.) :)

Starvingwritenow, boy, I wish I could! I think DH would balk, though. I'm already two handfuls, LOL.

Bernita, yes, kinda, sometimes, LOL. You're right, though. I just want to FINISH a book!

Anissa, for a second I thought starvingwritenow had cloned me, and commented on my blog. :-) That totally sounds like a solution I'd use, LOL! Thanks for stopping by!

J.H. Bogran, very true! That would definitely be a problem.

Therese, I hate when that happens! That's the worst! I went through that last summer. So cool about the Tuesday release, Therese!

Unfortunately, my problem lately has been more like Theresa's - none of them are "grabbing" me. I'd like to have some "un-put-downables" right now. Maybe you can give me some recommendations. :)
